The US CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a globally recognized certification for professionals in management accounting and financial management.
The certification is particularly valued in corporate settings where strategic decision-making and leadership are essential.

It is awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in the United States and is designed to equip individuals with advanced financial and strategic management skills.

US CMA Eligibility

To become a CMA, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Educational Qualification

Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent internationally).

Professional Experience

Two years of full-time experience in management or financial management (can be completed after passing the exam).

Membership with IMA

Candidates must become members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
